Donor Relations and Grants Manager
About the Role
The Donor Relations and Grants Manager is a key member of kosoko performance studio, supporting the development and sustainability of funding systems that align with the organization’s values and long-term vision.
This role focuses on grant research, application management, donor communication, and residency coordination. You will work closely with the Artistic Director to ensure all funding processes are organized, timely, and strategically aligned.
This position requires someone who is self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple timelines without constant oversight.
Part-time
5 to 6 hours per week | $40 per hour

Core Responsibilities
Research and identify grants, residencies, fellowships, and funding opportunities aligned with KPS
Prepare, draft, and submit grant and residency applications
Track deadlines, submission statuses, and reporting requirements
Maintain a centralized grants and residencies calendar
Support grant reporting and compliance documentation
Grants and Funding
Maintain communication with donors and funding partners
Draft donor updates, acknowledgments, and reports
Support donor stewardship and relationship-building strategies
Respond to donor and funder communications in a timely manner
Donor Relations
Assist in planning fundraising and crowdfunding initiatives
Support campaign preparation, including annual appeals
Collaborate on funding strategy and outreach efforts
Fundraising Support
Maintain internal systems for tracking grants, deadlines, and workflows
Coordinate logistics for residencies and related engagements
Manage internal follow-ups to ensure deadlines are met
Proofread and edit materials for accuracy and clarity
Operations and Coordination
Proven experience in grants management, fundraising, arts administration, or a related field
Strong organizational and project management skills
Exceptional writing and communication ability
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and workflows simultaneously
Experience building and maintaining donor relationships
Familiarity with the performing arts landscape in the U.S. and internationally
Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication

This is a remote, part-time role
Some domestic travel may be required
You will work closely with the Artistic Director through regular check-ins
